Q: Can you customize my hard hat with my company logo/or name?
A: Yes. For custom logos and names please contact us at info@ceriouscomposites.com for a quote. We use outdoor quality vinyl decals. Price depends on quantity and complexity. If you do not note the size/color/font/location of the custom name or logo we will use our standard silver colored vinyl in approximately 1/2" height, in the front of the hat. Custom logo name orders are non-refundable, non returnable.
Q: Are your hard hats really carbon fiber? Not just a sticker or paint?
A: Yes! They are real carbon fiber throughout(or carbon/Kevlar). NOT a paint, sticker, hydro-dip, or fiberglass. They are manufactured with Real, high performance, lightweight Carbon Fiber and Kevlar throughout. Real carbon fiber is used in manufacturing exotic cars, commercial jets, luxury yachts, major league baseball helmets, etc*... Once in your hands you will realize there is no substitute for the real thing.
Q: My credit card has already been charged but I have not received my order!?!?!
A: Our credit card processors have instituted new rules that required us to capture(collect) funds at the time of purchase. Due to unexpected high volume of orders, the current APPROXIMATE wait time for all orders, even past orders, is 4 weeks(average is 3-5 weeks). If the wait time is too long for past orders, let us know and we can cancel and refund the order in full. If you choose express shipping it will not speed up your order. Shipping speeds are only transit times, not the time it takes to get your order from the date you placed the order.
Q: You guys used to have matte and high gloss coatings, what happened???
A: The add-on coating added much more work and delays to the orders. If you would like to add a matte or high gloss clear coat to your order just type it in the "special instructions" box before you complete your order, or just e-mail with your order number. The additional charge is still a flat rate of $34.
Q: How do I keep my hard hat looking new?
A: We recommend keeping your hard hat waxed frequently with a high quality floor wax(floor waxes are UV resistant and very tough.) Do not use wax on matte hats. To make a matte hat look better just lightly scuff it with white scotchbrite lightly to bring back the dull finish and help remove scratches.

Q: How long until my order ships? When will I be charged?
A: You can expect your order to ship in 8 weeks from the date of order. (Average is 7-9 weeks)All orders are charged at the time of order. All hats are made to order in house at ceriouscomposites.com in the USA. Place your order to reserve your place in line... ALL orders are processed on a "first come, first served" basis. You will receive an e-mail with tracking info once your order ships. Our current system does not allow for constant order updates(coming soon).
Q: How long does shipping take if I choose Free Shipping?
A: Free Shipping transit time within the U.S.(including A.K. and H.I.) takes 2-3 days from the date of shipment.(e-mails are sent when the order goes out)
Q: Do your hard hats meet ANSI standards?
A: Yes, both the full brim and cap style are fully tested and ANSI compliant
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: We take International orders via the website and ship worldwide. Shipping prices are displayed before checkout is completed. The average shipping cost to Canada is $15US, UK and Europe $25US.
